Sundering is crap on anything other than a Scythe(in which it is questionable) the extra damage it gives is pathetic compared to what Vampiric gives you...
as for the op, in PvE Triple Chop build is the best an axe warrior can do, and it's very good at that!
as for axes of choice, I agree with Stormlord Alex, Vampiric, Zealous and Elemental 15^50(or stance) axes of fortitude(or defense) should be your choices.

TC is not the best axe build

Dedicating 3 skills that suck if you're not always hitting lots of guys is not a good skill bar it makes

In PvE [triple [email protected]] deals enough single target damage to make it worth while even when your not hiting for AoE dmg.

While having 3 AoE skills is a bit overkill on mission where you don't face large mobs, when you are taking on massive numbers of foes in close quarters its extremely powerfull.

One of the best examples of this would be the GWEN quest to defend the Dwarves in the BattleDepths.

Albeit a little late to the party, cracked armor is a condition most people never bring in PvP(why lightning orb why!!!) just because there is no room on an already cramped bar to make you more effective vs. melee classes. Savage for a sword warrior tbh, and disrupting strike with a conjure makes for heftier spike(dchop for regular shock axe). Dstrike also meshes with split builds better since you will not be constantly gaining adrenaline for dchop if you're splitting.

Triple Chop+cyclone axe+whirlwind makes things go boom but mostly on concentrated mobs.

Because like I stated your going to be hitting more than one foe at a time when you bring this. In the example I listed your fighiting mobs of 16 dwarfs at a time + minions.

In PvE there is no faster means of killing a mob then [triple chop] + [whirlwind attack] + [splinter weapon]

Now if your talking about in PvP or even GWEN where you face mobs of 4-5 then no TC is a bad build to be running.

I hope you're only referring to the Warrior class with this statement - Curse Necromancers are the Kings of Mob DPS - Especially this build created by Moloch Vein.

And without physicals, what is it? With no physicals, it's damage goes to shit. But a physical doesn't necesarily need the aid of a Necro in order to deal damage in the first place.
